Comitti, was a skilled Italian instrument maker who
came to England in 1845.
Comitti remains a family business run by the grandsons
of George Barker who married Louisa Comitti and took
over the company in the 1890s. Today Comitti enjoys
an international reputation for outstanding workmanship
and service.
