In the 18th Century no wealthy household would be
complete without one or more bracket or table clocks
to compliment the static longcase. These clocks were
designed to be portable and carried around the house
as required.
Because of their size and attention to detail, bracket
clocks were extremely expensive and the product of
the finest London clockmakers.
